Woodworking Classes

We are taking it back to shop class with woodworking classes, from basic woodworking to advanced skills and techniques.

The basic woodworking class is the pre-requisite for all classes to ensure safe use of professional, commercial tools. After successful completion of that class, you are free to enroll in any of our other available classes as well as book shop time to work on your projects.

Register for classes below and learn to work with your hands!

Why choose us

professional shop

Classes take place in an operational, commercial custom millworking shop during it's off hours. You will have access to the entire shop, complete with up-to-date tools and equipment. Once you complete the basic woodworking class, you will be able to book shop time to work on your projects for an hourly fee plus materials.

Commercial Tools

During classes, you will learn to safely and properly use a table saw, planer, sander, jointer, band saw and drill press as well has hand and power tools.

Best in the Business

You will learn from veteran woodworkers who have spent years honing their craft to suit clients across the Las Vegas Valley and beyond. They're here to pass their time-honored techniques on to you.

Your safety is Insured

We understand not everyone is a professional (yet!), and the tools you will use understand that, too. From SawStops to safe practices and shop insurance, your safety and well-being is our primary concern.

Learn from the Best

Jamie Yocono has taught woodworking in Las Vegas for more than 20 years and facilitates Sin City Woodworkers, a social and networking group for woodworking.

Ken Beck, co-owner of Legacy Woodworking and Design, was a corporate trainer before entering the woodworking industry a decade ago.

Ken and Jamie met in the woodworking community and realized it needed a place to call home, so they created one!
